Since taking up my gps advice (more fool me) Ive had 3 seizures in 2 weeks - the latest one involved falling out of my frontdoor and faceplanting the path - sounds worse than it is!

Im really regretting this now. all im being told is to stick with it its early days blah blah blah blah blaaaaaaaaaaah!

Cherriuz,

So sorry to read about the seizures, hope you didn't do to much injury to yourself with the seizure where you fell out your door.

You have an epilepsy nurse right? Is there anyway you can ring her or get in contact with your neurologist in regards to the issues you are having with the med change?

Yeah i do - my gp has written to her with his amazing plan of action - im going to go and see him next week and tell him his plan of action is all that good and he can ring her and sort his mess out because im fed up with him sticking his ore in now!
sorry for that rant :) x

Cherriuz,
You know you can rant anytime, you have very good reason to be pi**ed off.
I hope your GP can get it all sorted out.

what GPS device? "GPS" as in GPS GPS?

Yesterday I had my -first!- faceplant onto the sidewalk beside the frontage road along US75, one of Dallas' main downtown highway 'spokes'. Bigass forehead abrasion and bruise. Busted up pretty bad with abrasions in a few places. I'm lucky I didn't fall into traffic! And this was after a sleep seizure where I woke in the other room, the previous night.
Since then, voices in my head have been distinct (and some premonitory? and some just more distinct than before! I've found I have the ability to recall distinct words from two years ago as well.
It must have been the same kind of seizure I had two years ago that I'm thinking must have gotten psychotic. Very creepy. And very painful especially my buttbone and right hip.

Hey wouldn't that be a good clothing store name? "the right hip" lol

Now I'm imagining how glamorous that must have looked. Move over Britain's princess - there's a new bump for the headlines, and it's on my head. The head of the guy who doesn't even have the whereabouts to stand, like the guy on the corner collecting spare change.

So anyway, it has been seeming like "voices" got stuck in my head when I got the psychic seizure and now they're being "released" or something. I've been able to recall distinct fragments of dialog verbatim, it seems, from about over two years ago. These fragments have been triggering recollections of segments of time I didn't know about during the seizure.

It has been a very creepy phenomenon. At least a lot of the recollection is of doctors, but people on the street have also had a sort of thought-mold relevance.
I've had the feeling I'm still in some sort of "ghost" treatment method.

I just told my friend a pretty good zipper analogy. Zip up much sensory stimulation during a seizure, the seizure ends, and all of the memories get stuck in the "zipper" like strings, bits of fabric, etc. and won't come back until a seizure of the same type.

gps advice
Gp is "general practitioner" - the person you see for things like a persistent sore throat or cough and general little things.

Sorry to hear about your experience - at least i was just in my front garden so no one really saw :hugs:
