So this weekend was a total waste. Woke up Saturday morning (I say "woke up" but most of the day was a fog) and couldn't hardly function. My hubby told me that the night was "extremely eventful". He also said that I did the coughing again. Seems like whenever it is bad, i cough a lot before hand. I have no recollection of it. Anywho, the fog lifted yesterday, but then the terrible sleepiness and soreness set in. Today so far, so good. Got up at 5am and am at work. I always feel like I let everyone down when the weekend is wasted! My husband always reassures me that is not the case, but you know how our minds work!!

Yeah, I

know how it feels, I do remember the lost time well. At least your hubby is understanding about it.......mine wasn't. Then again, I lost more time than the average person--typically 18 to 24 hours. Weird, but still.

Glad to hear your recovery is going well though.

Take it easy!

Nor was mine. Plus he was a pilot and was gone days to weeks at a time and I was having CP's and TC's often back then. And sometimes when I had a TC, it would take a day at least to recover, depending on whether I had those awful headaches afterward.

I felt I had let everyone down, mainly my kids, and still feel that way today, although they are now grown. They tell me it isn't so.

Anyway, glad to hear you're doing better.

Sorry, Huskymom,

It sounds like you have a great husband. :)

Is he the introvert type? My ex was, and he wouldn't have minded it if I was down all weekend, either. He'd look at it as a perfect excuse to hide out in the garage working on his car. lol...

I get migraines after my seizures, too. They can last anywhere from 1-3 days, and I basically make my bedroom dark and cool and stay there with an icepack and pain medication until it goes away. So I understand losing days. Though that doesn't make it any easier for you. :(

You are right Endless, he is a great guy! He is not introverted, as a matter of fact, he went ahead and took the puppy out to go and tailgate before the game on Saturday! He is always the first to reassure me that all is fine!! I did have to close all the curtains though. That darn sunlight! Feel better today, gonna tough it out at work. I refuse to let this stuff keep me down for long
