I am beyond confused at this point is all I can say. I've been to doctors who say I have seizures and then they say i don't. This entire time I've never been on any anti-seizure meds or anything for that matter but things keep happening. So yet again, another new episode has popped up and my doctor thinks they may be seizures (I have an appointment with an internist in a couple of weeks? Never seen one of those before).
New year Eve is when it happened and got me to book an appoint with the doc. Although in hindsight i think they started a few months earlier. I started to feel off and just 'weird' all of a sudden (which is what i was feeling the months leading up to new years eve). It's hard to describe but ill try: its like I'm here but not really, I feel a little loopy/tired, keep getting moments where it feels like you're falling asleep for a split second and then waking up, thing kind of seem strange, and I just overall feel uncomfortable. So that I was getting on and off and it would usually last a half hour or so. but then on new years eve while I was at work it happened. I usually just kind of try to work through it because I know it'll eventually pass kind of thing but this time I felt the sudden need to sit down. So I sat in the office. I literally felt like I was going to pass out or something my ears were kind of ringing, i felt dizzy, and I didn't feel fully with it. My boyfriend stayed in the office with me (we work together). He said I looked out of it. He would try talking to me but he said I would just kind of look at him and not say anything. I remember the whole thing so I didn't lose consciousness. Afterwards I was super tired and he had to finish my shift for me while I sat in the office. I also had a small headache afterwards too (small enough I didn't need advil). So I thought it was just a one time thing but no it kept happening throughout these past weeks. Sometimes I don't get to the point where I need to sit but other times I do. The buildup is the same every time (that weird feeling) and if it gets to the point where I need to sit I get tired after and get a small headache.
I'm just so confused as to whats going on. If these are seizures, why are they randomly popping up and why do I keep getting 'new' or 'different' episodes?
