Sorry about all of these stupid random questions I have but...

Ever since I have had epilepsy, whenever I get bumped in the head, I lose conciousness. I don't know if it is considered a seizure or not. It doesn't have to be a big hit on the head. But yesterday (well this morning) after celebrating New Year's, I got hit with a cardboard box like what soda comes in...it wasn't heavy. My sister playfully hit me with it and I lost conciousness. Does this happen to anyone else? Can anyone explain why this happens?


Another thing that happens to me is whenever I start yelling or something when I tell stories to people ( I tend to be a little overdramatic :pfft:) I will fall and seize/pass out /whatever happens.... My mom believes that the yelling does something to my vagus nerve causing me to lose consiousness. Is this a possibility? What else could that be?

Actually, your mom may be on to something there......but this is something you REALLY need to bring up with your neuro, darlin'. Both things, for that matter. I've not heard of either thing happening before.......

Have you looked into the book Epilepsy: a new approach? It sure would be worth a view Brandi.
