I think I have more complex types of seizures...well I know for a fact because it's in my diagnosis...but the medicine seems to control the myoclonic ones for the most part...but yeah certain things trigger the more complex ones but over the years I've learned to "control" them and not let them "control" me...

Stress and anxiety I think are a major contributor in many cases. If you can control them you're in better shape.

had a major amount of stress last week things are better now. temp in the house is 75 and i live in arizona and sitting here shivering

I keep my house at 75 and the other day when I started shivering I took my temperature. It was nearly 102. My wife immediately condemned me to the couch and gave me soup. Its a nasty bug, but gave me a headache and a cough. Maybe you should make sure you're not sick, too. I think that can effect seizures as well.

For a long time I thought I was doing great until the next one happened.

I just saw my neurologist on Monday. We talked for about three minutes and he said we were good for a year. That's good news to me.

sounds are getting extreme. i could hear both side of a conversation on a phone way down the street. every bug and flap of the birds wings. feeling nervous now

I had every chance to ask about anything I wanted. We have had longer, but a quick in and out appointment is what I wanted. I am completely controlled now.

He is a very good doctor.
