Last night I had between 5-7 seizures during the night. Im pretty sure it was from lack of sleep. But Im just wondering if what I experienced is what anyone here has experienced when it comes to Myoclonic Seizures?

My husband said my right arm and leg were stiff and jerking. He then said I would yell, not loud loud, but loud enough to wake him and our youngest son. He didnt know if I was in pain, or what. I dont remember the seizures though. I recall waking up around 3:30am, and feeling weak, tired and had a really bad headache. But after that, I fell back to sleep and woke up alittle before 7am to get the kids ready for school. Luckly my husband stayed home from work, and let me sleep it off. I was up for about an hour to help with what I could do with getting the kids ready for school, and then went back to sleep til 11am, but really I could have slept longer than that. I just felt bad for sleeping so long and told myself I had to get up.

I took a ativan tonight, I have .5 mg tablets, so I took one to help me relax and maybe it will help me sleep better tonight.

I just wondered if anyone who experiences Myoclonic Seizures have had similar experiences like what I had last night?

Thanks! :)

My myoclonics

are similar, but I have a feeling of falling off a cliff. I think most of the time that they are on the right side of my body when they do happen (it's been quite a while) but I believe that they occasionally occur on the left. Don't quote me on that.

I get a nausus feeling in my stomach, and my heart begins to race fast. Thats when the stiffening and jerking begins, which is also on my right side of my body. Last March when I had alot of simple partial seizures in the hospital, which affected both side of my body, but more on my right side. I was consious through out them, but during the night when Im sleeping, Im not awake to know whats going on and I dont remember them when I wake up.
