Anyone know?

This may seem/sound a little strange, (it does to me) but does anyone know what it might be called when you feel "big". I close my eyes and it feels like my hands are huge, or my tongue, or feet... When I open my eyes it is almost a surprise that whatever it is is actually normal size. Has anyone ever heard of this? Is it some side effect? Am I crazy? I just wish I had a name for it so I could read about it.

Isn't there an Alice in Wonderland symptom? Isn't that because Lewis Carroll had the same type of episodes?

Robin is right. AIWS exists, and it's bizzare feeling. Some people feel the size of their body change, some feel like they are falling down a hole, for me the size of objects around me changes and time & speed warp. That last thing, speed, is rather dangerous when driving.

Thanks so much! After reading up on this I believe AIWS is what it is I am experiencing. It does make it a little easier knowing I'm not necessarily crazy (At least on this account, hehe). So yay for that! Now back to reading, gotta find out what I can do about it!

What you can do about it - take your seizure meds. The right amount, ON TIME. If it isn't working tell your neurologist. Your meds may need adjusting.
