Anyone think they reduced their # of seizures by taking Taurine?

Basically, the results of this particular study are NOT about whether taurine is good for people with epilepsy. It's about whether certain genes related to taurine metabolism might be a marker for genetic epilepsy.
 
I do know that with magnesium, the amount in blood circulation does not mean that it is crossing the blood brain barrier. The amounts can vary widely. I wonder if this would be true for other vit and minerals.

Also you mentioned low excretors. I have read that many children with neurological issues, tend not to eliminate toxins as easily. There might be common ground when you write about metabolism of vitamins and minerals and the levels that are expected in standard testing.
