I’m thinking about artificial disc replacement surgery to treat persistent back pain that hasn’t improved with other treatments.

Has anyone here tried it? Did it actually help with mobility and pain relief?

I’ve seen clinics in Sarasota, FL offering advanced procedures, but real patient feedback would really help me decide.

I have not had surgery. I've had herniated discs before and the pain was was no joke (steroid injections fixed the problem for me both times). My wife had back surgery before to fix a problem with a disc, but I don't recall exactly what the surgeon did. My wife has not had any complications or further issues since her surgery several years ago.
