Hemp is not the same plant as "pot". They are both canabis but hemp does not get you high.
Hemp seed has no psychoactive ingredients. They are a healthy snack and great bird food. Good source of essential fatty acids omega3 and omega6 and protein minerals, fiber etc.

They safe I buy them health shop put on cereals if you grow them will look like cannabis but is not and teenage son flinging them into Tesco car park did not help.it the stuff make rope out of.

It's a bit more complicated than that. Some people do seem to find a measure of seizure control from smoking pot. The cannabinoids in marijuana mimic the body's own version of those chemicals (called "endocannabinoids") which can have a calming effect on the brain. But it can be risky to medicate this way, given the variability in dosage, variety, and individual reaction.
Some have found that hemp paste (which is legal) has a neuroprotective effect, and consider it safer that MJ, since it contains virtually no THC (the psychoactive component of marijuana and some hemp plants).

To expand on Nakamova's post,
There are 2 primary cannabinoids in medical marijuana (THC and CBD) and hemp (CBD). Both work on the cannabinoid receptors in the brain but where CBD is "always"* inhibitory, THC is inhibitory (calms the brain stopping seizures) up to a point then can become excitatory (over exciting the brain and leading to seizures).
("always"* - anyone can have a bad reaction to anything.)
You cannot tell by looking at the medical marijuana how potent it is and how much will be enough to calm you and how much will be too much and exacerbate your seizures.

I wouldn't put hemp products in the group as treatments. I use hemp powder for smoothies. I also have seeds with the shell removed (hemp hearts) to either snack on or add in with foods for extra protein. Very healthy. If you do a search there is a company in Manitoba Canada who sells hemp products I have used. They have information on their site.

I wish these anti cannibis people watch someone put fist through a wall bc pain so bad.It very helpful with pain you still aware of it but pain feels more detached.i take morphine and have the patches now they are addictive.A small medicinal measure would help me so much give me a life back but stuff they use these days I don't know if it clashes with e med or just to strong I get panic attacks so don't use it.
The hemp you get health shop gives cereal nutty flavour if you decide try grow it all you get good quality rope.kids buy it and fling it on to cop station plant tubs see how long before cops notice.Rub leaves on to lips stops chap ping.
The cannibis Peple smoke or bake cake with I very hard to grow but if want seed you send off to any tulip from or nursery in Holland as nothing illegal buying seed they come in Same seed packets s any other seed.
I have heard wild lettis can help e and other chronic problem but I don't know what it looks like

Hey Hopper,
If you can't smoke it, eat it. Lots of good food out there with cannabis in it. One thing i found is that it's hard to know how concentrated the foods are. The brownies are the best.
But i still prefer to smoke it. The taste of a good smelling bud is like heaven to some.

Yes, i know the 2 different types, but Hopper does say "Since smoking pot is not good for people with epilepsy" So i'm thinking he means smoking cannabis instead of the hemp type. No one smokes the hemp type, i think.
Where i live, you can go to the nearest coop and buy whatever you need, the none rope type.

iano: op:Is that Holland Zollt.bc here in uk we not advanced enough think for ourselves yet.They tell you got side effects well everything got that.Legalize it take it off the streets and it would not be strong skunk which makes me ill it be therapeutic dose that be harmless stop feeling sick ease pain and for some help e and if it don't just don't use it.
To get some sleep I got take sleeping pill more cloberzam than I should and strong pain killers I rather just take medicinal amount of cannabis but I unable bc against law and if I could get it ,it to strong.i would love the anti cannibis people have one week in my shoes .I know those who do get medicinal cannibis have good results but very few have oppitunity to try
