And if someone where to call me normal, I would take it as the greatest insult. And I would have to question their perception. I would conclude that it would be below average. And then I would want to slap them silly! But the question is "would I use my left or right hand..."
 
Well, now

after much training, I'm a righty. I used to be ambidextrous, but lost that ability after a set of 13 t/c's in a 3 month period. That was about 15 years ago, maybe 16.

There are quite a number of southpaws in my family as well--close to half, I think. My parents are both rightys, though.
 
One time before taking an exam in college I tossed and turned so violently that I popped my kneck.

Oh, heavens,

Cinnabar, I don't know which crack it will be.

But I just noticed that test, and took it. How strange. Only four of the things turned out to be right-handed. Very, very weird. The first two and the last two........I don't get it.....

I guess I'm just a very CONFUSED individual???? :roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:

Hehe. My left hand isn't quite as neat as my right, but i can write forwards with my right hand and backwards with my left at the same time (like a mirror image) and i can write separate things with each hands. (at the same time)

It was only when i was in high school that i realised i could do this.

I just looked back through the thread a bit and read the test for finding out if you're a righty or a lefty sided person

I scratch my back with both hands (not at the same time lol) I can wink with both eyes depending on which one feels like it, clapping was my right hand, looking down my finger was my left, clasping hands was my left. I can't remember the rest of them lol.

I think my body is undecided!
 
I am left handed. Although the left hemisphere controls the right side and vice versa, I heard that inherited left handedness can have a reversal in functions of the hemispheres (the right hemisphere for left handed people is similar to the left hemisphere for right handed people).
That was an interesting article that reflects how left handed people are forced to maneuver their way around in a right handed world. There was a specially shop where I used to live that sold only left handed products.

I'm very strange when it comes to handedness - see the reasons below:-

I'm mixed handed but not ambidextrous! I say I'm mixed because the tasks I do well with my right hand I can't do or do well with my left and the tasks I do wel with my left I can't do or do well with my right!

I write with my left and use the mouse with my right. If I try to use my right for writing my writing is very messy, childish and huge - with limited or no control over the pen. If I try to use the mouse with my left hand - it feels very awkward and strange!!!

The worse thing is sometimes when learning new tasks - I have difficulty in finding which hand is the best for that certain task. Urgh!!!

Hey,
I learned something new not to long ago.
Dextrous means right, and Sinister means left.
So if someone is Ambidextrous, it means they are very right handed, not both handed
and Ambisinister, is someone who is very left handed, not both handed.
I have yet to fidn the word that means "both" in latin
