I have been told by my GP and neuro that I have Audio sensitve Epilepsy. I have never liked loud noises anyway but now everytime I hear a loud noise like a police car there is is always a huge risk that I will have a seizure :(

I was out in the car with my hubby earlier and a police came right next to us and started blaring his siren which not only nearly gave me a heart attack but 30 seconds later brought a seizure on and it was a big one too :(
Has anyone else heard of this as I had never heard of it til now.

Before I was on medication I found I had to avoid prolonged exposure to loud sounds, like music cranked to the limits like they do in some public gyms or an outdoor band, otherwise it could lead to a nocturnal seizure that night (maybe it counted as a "stress"? I don't know). And I live near train tracks so extra loud shunting of the cars at night used to startle me into a seizure.
