So I've got a bad case of oral thrush at the moment, when I looked it up on the 'patient' website about it, one of the listed causes was: 'Lacking iron, folate or vitamin B12.'

I remember it being mentioned as a side effect of some AEDs.

I've been on Lamictal for about a month, could it have caused low b-12 already or just a weird coincidence? Worth mentioning to a GP?

Yes its worth mentioning to your GP, and yes lamictal may have lowered an already low iron level, B-12 injections are one way of getting iron or to get it in the food you eat (like liver) or as you said folate which you can buy over the counter at your chemist (pharmacy). A full blood test is a good idea.

With all three anti-seizure meds I've been on (Dilantin, Zonegran and now lamictal) my blood tests have been subnormal, indicating iron anemia, b12 deficiency or both. So I take a b12 supplement. I agree with Fedup, that a full blood test would be useful.
