The last two days I have woke up with the worst headache ever, it gets better after I take my Keppra. This is new to me. I know many write about having seizures in your sleep...since only my dogs are with me, I don't know if something is happening at night. My head does hurt after I have seizures. Is this a sign of having petit mal in my sleep?

It could

be. Is there a way that you could borrow a camcorder from someone to make a video of what is going on when you're sleeping? Then you can give it to your doctor, and say here, look what is going on, I feel like @@@@ help me PLEASE....

I thought about the camcorder thing too....but I do not know anyone that has one. These headaches are worst than the ones I have after a seizure..it reminds me of the headache I got when we had carbon monoxide poisoning.

Have you

checked to see if your carbon monoxide detector's WORKING??? It might not be.......Otherwise, you need to get yourself into a doctor and be evaluated ASAP.

Oh, I sold that house after me and the kids almost died from the carbon monoxide and got a house that is all electric so that would never happen again.
Do you really think I need to call doc about this. They did MRI when they did my EEG in May...said no brain tumors.

Yessss,

I DO. If you're having a headache that you feel is one of the worst you've ever had OR as bad as you felt from the carbon monoxide poisoning, YOU NEED TO CALL THE DOCTOR NOW. PERIOD.

You might inquire about having a sleep study done. Morning headaches could also be indicative of sleep apnea (or many other things I'm sure).

my father has sleep apnea. Dr asked me if I snored, told him I didn't know...but last month I spent night at friend's house and he said I was snoring loud all night...so maybe I should ask about a sleep study.

Pick up the phone and make an appointment
with the Doctor and schedule it up!

And I agree with the cam-corder, or maybe
a digital camera? Maybe a neighbor can loan
you one (let you borrow it) and help you set
it up - so it can be recorded? That could help
a lot right there ... Not a bad idea! A Video
Digital Recorder that has a microphone would
be even better. They can be set to go at
slow speed so that it doesn't eat up all the
memory and some can be set up to be direct
connected to a DVD Player, so it can be
recorded on DVD/CD Player - so having both
audio and video ... is a pretty exceptional
idea right there ...

HOWEVER - you will have to have a light on,
because those cameras won't work in the
dark and you will need to do a test run of
just how dim of a light one can do, such as
a light on in another room - or maybe moving
the main lamp elsewhere so the room light won't
keep you awake but yet it's able to be viewed
on the recorder.

Just make sure that the microphone is close to you
if possible, if there's extension - you can at least,
tape it to the head board or wall (like with a small
little duct tape) and make sure the cord is way out
of your reach though ....

Just a thought there...
