I found an older hospital record today that said my blood test results were positive for cannabis (guilty) but then also positive for barbiturates...
and I'm wondering why the hell it would come back positive for barbiturates... at the time I was on levetiracetam, but online I didn't find anything that said lev. could test positive for barbiturates.
it seems odd that anything the hospital would give me would be pos. for barbiturates, because I'm presuming they would test my blood prior to doing anything else.
I can only figure that the ambulance techs (I don't recall and I didn't go back into the hospital record much today to find out if that was an ambulance trip ER visit) gave me something that gave a positive for barbiturates.
I'm not sure what my question is - has anybody had barbiturates administered for seizures? phenobarbital? is there a barbiturate commonly administered in ambulances?
I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow and I want to go over this issue but I wonder if anyone might have a heads up.
