Has to do with migraines but I know many people have them.
Do any of you know how to get rid of a Benadryl hangover? I was in the ER yesterday because of a migraine and they gave me Benadryl and i am so sleepy but keep walking up every few minutes.
I'm trying to stay awake because I'm very behind in my school work and I'll have to drop my classes if I get behind even more. Would caffeine work?
Thanks!

I use a lot of caffeine but I heard coffee is bad for seizures .even decaf. I love it so much though! And some times it may be necessary. Just my 2 cents...

I have migraine a lot connected to e.it disabling you have suffered it to know it.No pain killer works in fact I begging feel something now so I go off line soon.
Now what I learned for me I get bottle of tonic water some very cheap sweets wine gums if you can time it right it can help I often take beterhistin and that point help with throwing up BC that will happen now my son finds tying tight cord tie around his head helps don't for me.may take migraleave but bottom line dark room flannel and 6 to 24hours of misery and puke bowl don't answer phone or door I normally can't stand up.Lugging me off to hospital make it worse.i sometimes take 2cloberzam.for me I find migrain worse than sz I don't know I having them.If someone gave me morphine it would do nothing pain

I've tried many different prescription meds for migraines (even went to a migraine specialist and got meds from her) and all sorts of other serious body pains but NOTHING works or even helps! I notice that Advil does seem to help, I take 3 pills instead of one or two like you are suppose to though.

I normally only get a headache/migraine after a seizure, no other time. Unfortunately for a migraine the only thing I can really do is take a few Advil, tie an ice pack around my head, go into a dark room, listen to music through my headphones and just sleep it off.

Caffeine sometimes causes me to have seizures, especially if I drink a lot. But everyone is different when it comes to what causes and doesn't cause seizures. You could try it but be prepared for the worst.

Hope you find something that works soon.

Thanks everyone!
I didn't want to go to the ER but I was crying like a three year old girl who can't get the Barbie and the Ken lol. I've never cried during a migraine before and pain killers and ice wasn't cutting it. I just hate the adverse effects of the drugs. I seem to be mostly awake and avoided the caffeine route because i didn't want to feel worse. I may request an abortive medication when I see my neurologist next week.

For some people, caffeine triggers migraines, for others it can treat them. It can potentially bring relief because it causes the blood vessels in the brain to narrow and restrict blood flow (the blood vessels enlarge just prior to a migraine headache). Caffeine is actually an ingredient in many OTC pain relievers. Do you know if you're sensitive to caffeine one way or another? If you know it's a seizure trigger for you, steer clear of course.

You can read a bit more about it here:

Aside from that, I tend to do what Valerie does -- dark room, cool washcloth on my neck. It helps if I lie down with my head tucked into a corner of the sofa, and put additional pillows on top of my head.

That why have no coffee the thought of cafifin make me feel sick knowing its association with migrain.i same as valerdle same triggers same reason and same way handling it
