body jerking and or twithching

Hi all
i was wondering if anyone has experienced their body twihiching or jerking while they are resting or sleeping.

this had happind for a long time even when i was not told i had epi but i start having the funny turns

it can happin at any time of the day even if i am sitting reading wratching tv sitting in my maths class.

they start out of the blue like i had it today in my arms here and there.

I do. I have them at night and they wake me up. I also used to and still sometimes do have them durring the day. Dropping keys.Head jerks at night, arm and leg jerks.Let your Dr. know. My son also has them. They are called myoclonic seizures. Teresa
 
I always thought that night time jerks didn't necessarily have anything to do with epilepsy.
 
Some do some don't. Myoclonic seizures and myoclonic jerks. One comes from the spine and one comes from the nerves. The brain.When you get tired, you get those jerks when you go to sleep. Those are called myoclonic jerks.Those are normal.But then if they go on in the night or if you are having them in the day that is a seizure.Did that help any?
