Can someone educate me on the relation to dehydration and or alcohol consumption to breakthrough seizures? i'd look the internet for this information, but it is overwhelming and too many different answers. please help.

Personally I would suggest you ask your doctor or someone with medical training.

There are a lot of people here on this site who are likely to give you just as many different answers.

epileric has a good point about people giving you different answers, the thing is we are all different and have different triggers although you will find that most of us have similar triggers, dehydration is not good even if you do not have epilepsy, dehydration leads to a change in our metabolism, like severe headaches. The lose of fluids in your body is not good. Mixing alcohol (abusing) and drugs is not a good idea as you know, and for some (like me) alcohol can be a trigger so I stay away from it, but usually a glass of wine or that is no problem for anyone. It comes down to the person in the end for alcohol as for the dehydration its just not good. But like epileric said you should ask a doctor.
