Good to hear you are okay. =)

Well as I have said many times before you learn to live and laugh at it when u have epilepsy as it stops u from crying about it I was and still am laughing about being completely run over by a two and a half ton transit minibus full of kids smashing my pelvis in 3 places so minor injuries from seizures don't really bother me anymore lol but thanks for asking lol

Thanks guys this has helped a lot I have wore glasses since I was six years old and have been thinking of getting contacts as im all ways breaking or misplacing my glasses due to seizures and memory being bad after my seizures rhis has gave me some food for thought

Worn contacts before E and after E for over 20 years. Never been a problem. I don't even think about it.

That good question I broke pair this week and was thinking about those vanity contacts the ones that give you colour.I never gave e thought I forgot now I am.i have fear of breaking glasses causing injury and other is swallowing or my plate go flying..
I surpose go for eye surgery in two weeks which I dreading it squint you not aware of squint but effecting my sight substantially.my eye doc said more people than you think have squint and they think it just refraction but people like speck savers won't tell you they want your money.
Dave speck savers did same with my husband you have take them back with in 48hours then they do test again give you other glasses at no cost.
They do the eye test so quick don't give you chance see if they right for you or not.
I think on what I read on this thread I may try vanity contacts it thought of them going under eye lid but other ok with them which positive..I not answered your question but other who answered you has helped me

I prefer glasses. but wear contacts in cali because it is too bright out there and I need sun glasses when out side. but I have scars all over my face from seizures and broken glasses. so it really is six of one. half a dozen of the other.

Possibility

I wore contacts for several years, when I was about 25-30yo. I always took them out as soon as I got home and put on my glasses. I could never made a total commitment to hard or soft contacts. I finally went back to my glasses because they didn't 'hide from me' as much and I had always been putting them on as soon as I woke up to get out of bed, so why not just wear them all day!
With the glasses I didn't have to carry safety glasses around with me at work. That made for 1 less thing to misplace!
