can anyone drink alcohol while taking AEDs?

Maybe a very small amount, but half the time I end up with a headache from even one drink. It makes me wish I hadn't so it isn't even worth it.

Meds and seizures give me all the altered states of consciousness I want. Not even a need for it.
 
dont drink around dosing times and eat big meals.

its also a personal choice.

i do but i see it as a form of release, i stop 2hrs before i take meds at night and have gone 8-10 months without a drink and still had a seizure, also, have had semi rough nights drinking and havent had it cause issues.


For me, its all about sleep. getting in enough and making sure its quality is what makes me good or bad.

I also didnt begin having issues til i was 25. I wasn't ready to quit asap right when seizures began.
