They found him. ABC News is only able to do interviews now. His father, who lives in Russia was here until a year ago. They said that he is in poor health. The health care is better in the USA. Strange that he would want to go back to Russia.

There is a third suspect, who they have not caught. There were 2 cars last night, both throwing out bombs. This morning the police and SWAT teams were looking for bombs. They found some!! Some were duds and others were real.

They want to get him alive because he might know of others who are involved, especially the third person involved in the shooting last night.

Please do what you are told. It is for your safety. I pray for everyone of you.

They found him. ABC News is only able to do interviews now.

Who have they found? One suspect is dead and the other is one the run from what I hear on CNN. I'm hearing it is an intensive manhunt for the other.
The entire city is on the lookout and lockdown. Even my son cannot go to Boston U to class today. He is due to graduate from Law School next month.

I don't think all the information is out there yet. As far as I know there are only the two bombers -- one now dead, and one on the lam. The dead bomber had a wife and child who are now in custody -- perhaps that's the "third person" you're referring to Ruth?

Lockdown has been all day, and is continuing through tomorrow, so I'm glad I have some food in my pantry. Let's hope this ends soon, with no more violence.

Maybe the news isn't getting it right? I hope everyone has enough food for a few days.
Nakamova, maybe that is the third person.

It was on ABC News that we are not to talk about it on social media's, in the internet. Does that include this site?
They say it is because of misinformation.

I hope it ends soon and that all of you have enough food and water in case it lasts a while.

Take care, I don't think that I will be talking about it until everything is over.

Thanks Ruth. I think they don't want the escaped bomber to know what the police are doing or where they are searching, so that's another reason why tweeting is discouraged.

It looks like they've found the remaining bomber hiding in someone's backyard. They're giving him plenty of space, but it's just a matter of time. This should be over within the next few hours.

Edit: They've got him in custody now (as of 8:45 pm east coast time)

FYI for our Boston members...

The NeuroDevelopment Center is making available without charge 20 sessions of neurofeedback treatment to anyone with PTSD symptoms related to experiences in the Marathon bombing. This includes first responders.

Neurofeedback makes use of the brain’s capacity for change to reshape brain networks. It is a way to directly train the brain to function better. When used to treat PTSD, neurofeedback quiets fear networks in the brain. These fear networks get switched on high alert status with the traumatic event and then do not quiet when the danger is over. Neurofeedback quiets this alarm system in the brain. Research has shown effectiveness with PTSD.

Although the technology is complex, the process is simple, painless, and non-invasive. It is just learning, guided by immediate feedback about changes in the brain’s electrical activity. Every half second, brain activity is compared to a target or goal for change. The trainee gets a signal or “reward” when the target or goal for change is met. No signal or reward is given when the target is not met. This process is behavioral training of brain behavior.

Bessel van der Kolk, MD, Boston University Professor and world renowned trauma researcher and clinician states: “Neurofeedback is a powerful treatment for traumatic stress.” The NeuroDevelopment Center has partnered with Dr. van der Kolk and the Trauma Center in Brookline in neurofeedback research. The NeuroDevelopment Center is a national center for excellence for neurofeedback, and has trained the staff of the Trauma Center and five residential treatment centers for children with PTSD.

The NeuroDevelopment Center’s Boston Strong Recovery Program will provide without charge a full qEEG brain map, 20 neurofeedback sessions, and treatment outcome measurement to anyone who developed PTSD symptoms after direct exposure to the Marathon bombing. This program is being offered through the NeuroDevelopment Center’s Cambridge and Providence locations. Applicants will be asked to complete a brief online survey to be sure this treatment is appropriate.

For more information: visit neurodevelopmentcenter.com, call 401 351 7779, ext 100, or attend one of the monthly evening presentations done at the Center.

This is the place where I hope to try neurofeedback once I can afford it. Though they don't have experience with epilepsy nfb protocols, and would need to link up with practitioners who do.
