I'm terrified of the dentist & for good reason. A lot of the problem is me & my health issues & not the dentist. Dentist don't understand that I'm allergic to basically everything. I have changed dentist & am hoping this one will at least listen to me but I fear she will be like all the others.

What does your dentist use on you for numbing? Do you have side effects from it? I'm sensitive to Lidocaine & read that all anesthetics contain this. My allergic reactions effect my brain & nervous system so skin testing for allergy doesn't help me.

Thanks for your help.

I was into the dentist 6 months ago and had some dental work done, but I don't remember what he used for numbing. I don't have issues with those drugs. But since you do, the dentist does need to know as some of them can cause problems.
