Thank for the feedback! I'm seeing a psychiatrist, but maybe I should look at going to an epileptologist. I'll also look at neurofeedback.

An epileptologist is great as well as a psychiatrist but not instead of, especially if the issue is depression.

Have you asked the psychiatrist if epilepsy can be an issue regarding the depression? That's also a good question for a neurologist
 
Been out of it a few days...anyway saw my new neur. on the 13th of Oct., She is changing me from dilantin to topiramate (now in the process of going on topir. slowly) this feels alot like Keppra to me...but I have to give it a change.
When I asked if she thought I needed to see a psychiatist, she said yes. With my depression she thinks I need more than fish oil.
--I so hoped she would say , Oh no, we will just to chg. this and tweak that and you will be fine.--I can think so foolishly..
I'm hoping to get off this dilantin, it has worked from many years for me, however it now doing one number on me because of long term use.
Again I didn't know it COULD do permament brain damage.
I hope to hear tomorrow, from test she had done.
