Dizzyness, double vision and sleepyness?

I'm on Vimpat, Epilim, and Lamictil.
Lately (as in the last...6 months) I've been getting double vision and dizzyness about an hour after I've taken my medication. Usually in the morning, which makes it a pain in the butt. It doesn't start til about an hour or so after I've taken the tablets. I get headaches after about 45min when the double vision etc starts (I think that might be just from me trying to concentrate thru the vision etc). It has been random, not every day and it doesnt matter what I have for breakfast, be it cereal or just a piece of fruit. I dont think its hormonal either.
I had my night time dose of vimpat increased is little about 6/7months ago too but I dont think it'd be the cause.
I'm hoping to get an appointment which my neuro when his secritary gets back from holidays.
I've been getting sleepy alot too. way before I had the increase. I was told that the introduction of a new meds makes you sleep but I've been on Vimpat for quite a while now
 
This sounds horrible. I went thru something like what you describe when I was on Keppra.

Have you spoke to your Dr. about all this?
 
My daughter had this when she was on Tegretol.
Her neurologist said it had nothing to do with the medication, however after a few weeks of being off of the drug.. they symptom went away.
 
i have the same problem besides the sleepy problem and its lamictal that we have in common and it sucks.mine is about a half hr after
 
i have the same problems. i had since i took tegretol right at the start, its ment to be doze realated but i cant really go any lower, i know how u feel it just feels like u have not got any sleep! then the keppra was added and im not twice as bad... but of course neros wont let me change.
 
I have the same issues on Trileptol. It is so bad!!! I have to eat breakfast and wait till after lucnh ro take it(dangerous but i ant work if i take it aafter breakfast). I also can't eat too much, or too fast, and i have to be very careful. I have to wait till about an hour a half after I eat lunch.
