1. Does an aura show up as a seizure of any sort on an EEG?

2. Sometimes I am able to "work myself out" of a (nocturnal) partial seizure by moving around in a certain way on my bed if I wake up to an aura or very early stage of a seizure. I will waken because my head and body feel very strange - a numb and tingling feeling is the best way to describe it, sometimes along with that infamous stomach rising and my left hand/arm starting to curl up to my head. When I waken feeling this I move around or even get up, and the seizure might sometimes subside, at least the motor portion does. If the technique doesn't work I might fall asleep again but the seizure occurs anyway several minutes later. The times I am able to seemingly suppress the seizures, are they in fact still seizures that would show up on an EEG?

I would think so, but it could be in a certain part of the brain that may be hard to detect.

I second this. I know because my partial seizures are temporal lobe, they have yet to show on an EEG.
