Hello everyone, I'm an 18 years old college student and I was wondering if you all could help me out.
I don't actually have epilepsy, but recently some things have been happening that make me believe I may be in store for a seizure.
Recently I have been having some symptoms as well as being very stressed out for other reasons. The main symptom that concerns me is an overwhelmingly strong sensations of deja vu that seem to happen most often during stressful events. Along with the deja vu I have the occasional hallucination, well what I think are hallucinations. These include little specs that appear in the corner of my eye, and strange smells that don't seem to have sources.
One of the first cases of a very drawn out deja vu occured while I was under the influence of psilocybin mushrooms, but I have had others while sober. I've quit using drugs of any sort for the time being.
It may also be important to note that my older sister had a seizure when she was in highschool, but she isn't epileptice.
I really would like to know if I should be concerned with this and seek medical attention.
