Nothing new to give. Doctor wants to stay the course for another year, then start to take him off. The Doctor says it is 70-30 that he will grow out of it. But we will see.

I am kind of tired of this "grow out of it" question.
IMO you either raise the threshold or it stays low and seizures occur.

If you grow out of it, and then you get smacked again later in life, does that mean you grow back into it?

I just find this rather odd with all that is known (very little it seems) about E.

Well, I'll say congratulations. :) Sounds like you got some good news. Something to look forward to.

If a child is born early from 2 to 6 weeks there are parts of thier brains not fully formed. As the child grows these parts are formed hence ending SZ.

My son has a seizure disorder not E, right now no jinx.

This is just what the doctor has told me. No jinx

Let's hope he's right about the 70%. :flipcoin:

I"m glad he is doing well.

I, too, hope that he outgrows the seizures.

Well, as a person who grew out of one type of seizure, I can indeed attest to the fact that it can happen. :) So definitely keep the positive thoughts going Bensalem. :)
