Does anyone else vibrate?

I know...weird question. But, I've only been diagnosed for 2 months and I'm still trying to figure all this out. And hey, it's not like I can ask my friends, family or random people. haha I do see my neurologist in a week and I will ask him

So for now.... do you vibrate? It just started last week. Not the convulsant type where I lose consciousness. Also, not the jerking motion in my arm and torso that I used to get prior to the Topamax. This is a true vibration...like a back massager. I'm wondering if anyone else has felt this? Or, am I the only weirdo. :lol:

I do, i dont know why....does it kinda feel like ur phone is on vibrate and is under ur leg or foot or arm....i havent told my neuro about this yet either...i see him tomorrow for the second time...( i havent found a good neuro yet that i feel cares enough about my situation) he wants to do an eeg on me tomorrow....ive had seizures for 15 yrs and sometimes i will go months without havin one, however i still jerk like my arm, leg ot torso even my head or lower jaw...i have bad muscle spasms, but the vibrating thing started about a year ago....im not sure what it is...half the things i tell them they dont care they just want my insurance money...its hard to find a dr that cares....really really hard...i wish u luck n if u find out plz let me know....good luck!!!

Yeah, mine lasts about a minute and is usually focused in my upper body. Like if I could buzz, I would. My jerking was diagnosed as myoclonic seizures but I video taped those to show my doctor. If your neuro gives you any ideas tomorrow will you share them tomorrow? And, I'll do the same next week. I'm sorry you haven't found a decent doctor... It's hard enough being diagnosed as it is..

I will definitly let you know what he says, if i go....i kinda have a catch 22 and i cant really talk to anybody about it, im afraid they will judge me for one and i just want to do the rite thing...if i go it could help on one part and hurt on me getting treatment for my other disease or it could hurt my disability case ive been workin on since they made me quit work after ten yrs when my son was six mnths old...i took their advise signed up for disability and have been raising my son off of $228 a mnth for 5 yrs....well our income ends the end of feb and so does my insurance...so i really need this disability in which i shouldve had within six months....thats what i get for getting a big named attorney ( they have thousands and thousands of cases) idk what to do, should i go or postpone it until after my diability case is decided...it should be decided in the next couple of months...if im totally honest with him it mite help my case but then again it could make him say no to my treatments which will save my life...
I need help bad,,,idk what to do?????????????????

For the past month and a half, my foot has been vibrating like a cell phone vibrates in the heel of my foot, sometimes moving up my foot. At first it only did it once or twice, then started doing it several times a day. It's slacked off but still does it everyday. I am going to see the Neurologist about it Feb 15th, it's weird and at times kept me awake.

My primary doctor tested me for three things it could be, Diabetes, Thyroid and Vitamin B deficiency but all were normal. So now I go see the Neurologist. It could be a pinched nerve with me, hope I find out what it is at my appointment

Well with mine it would have to be alot of pinched nerves cause i have it everywhere, tho mainly in my legs n feet but have felt it in shoulders arms hands...i have been through alot though...15 car wrecks, a car hit me , i was beat for 7 years by one guy and about killed twice by another guy when i was younger.im 29 now and definitly feeling the affects of it now....but the drs come in get my name let me say maybe 2 things thats going on and out the door they go...it so hard to find a good dr anymore.....good luck to you...keep me posted plz

Thanks, Angel. Strange! With me, it's focused in my face. It's funny because when it happens I flash back to that Bill Cosby skit (and I don't know how old you are but this brings me back to the early 80's) where he's talking about sitting in a dentist chair and his face is numb and he says, "My face! My face!" and I always laugh as my face is vibrating. Well, I'll keep up on my vitamins and who knows....maybe it's just another lovely side effect of the meds.

And Cooper....wow! *sigh*

Hi , I actually did vibrate quoit a while ago . I think I was having seizures at night when I woke up my entire body would vibrate . I would not move for at least 10 min. Then I would slowly get up and I mean slow . I would lift my neck up , then my head and so on then I would sit on the bed for 5 min. . WhenI got up I hadto hold onto things so I did not fall . I am now on different meds. Now if I think I had a seizure that night I am wiped out the next day . jenn

It seems like such a balance between alerting my Dr of weird things and complaining too much. You know? I don't know what to tolerate and what not to tolerate. Navigating through all of this is maddening some days. Today is a hard day for me. I think I am doing things withought knowing it. I can't find things that I normally know where they are. I am missing jewelry but I live alone (besides my daughter). While looking for my jewelry I found my missing boot tucked away into my night stand and I have noooo idea how that go in there.

Am I losing my mind? I feel like crying. Again.
