Ive been noticing that yesterday when I was at my grandparents house, I felt cold, and actually shivered when the auras were coming. My mom kept asking me if I was cold, and at the time, I felt "Off", and pretty much knew something was trying to come on. The first seizure I had there, there was no aura before. It just hit me. The second time, I had the fear and nausea come, but it was quick... didnt last maybe a second or two and then the seizure came on.

I just wondered if anyone else experienced the Cold Sensation with their auras/seizures?

Yeah, I've had that. I shiver a lot in a complex partial. Another wonderful symptom for us to enjoy =)

I get kind of a cold sweat sometimes, and get really pale, but I don't actually shiver or get cold in my body. I do get what I suppose could be called a "cold" sensation, but it's not a temperature cold as much as a sort of non-temp cold, if that makes sense. maybe it doesn't.
Also, just for the sake of using correct terminology, my understanding is that you would only call something an aura if it precedes a tonic-clonic or other seizure. If what you seem to have, and what I have, is the only thing that happens it would be a simple partial or complex partial seizure.
I hope things are looking up for you! I know the past few days have been hard!

Ive noticed over yesterday and today prior to the stiffening, I get the nausea, fear, sadness, then at times i would get this shivering, like when you;re cold, and you shiver. Once the first seizure was over with, and I was feeling so tired, just drained like after it.. I got up to lay down, I felt another aura coming on... but then came this shivering feeling, It didnt last long, just enough time for me to notice it and think thats odd... ive never had this happen before.

I plan to call the local neuro in the morning. I really want this all to go away, and im hoping they can get me in soon.

I think there were times when I had an aura I would sometimes get a cold shiver. Then there were times where I would feel hot & flustered & go pale.

I can go really cold except my face, that goes really hot, then I go pale

I kind of do the cold sweat thing, but those tend to come on in my sleep, so I'm not REALLY sure.

I have partial complex seizures and have had that "cold" feeling. It's like a wave coming over you followed by fear. Having been through it this long, I've popped a clorazepate, swiped the magnet on the vns and just went back to work. Not that it's ALWAYS that easy.

yes, thats exacly how I would describe it as!

Almost every seizure I've had I feel freezing but sweat like crazy. That's followed by a really unique nausea-like sensation in my stomach, then I collapse. Sometimes it takes awhile for my body temperature to regulate after.

During my seizures i normally get a cold sweat but it comes over me how a hot flush would happen once Thats happened if the seizure has stopped i tend to get really emotional and cry but i never know what Im crying about i get confused then fall into a deep sleep Xx

yup...get cold shiver, aura (nausea, rising feeling to head, feel in strange place and can't move or speak, weak legs, exhausted) then feel flushed and still nausea.

Now I"m all paranoid...I've been feeling "off" for the last couple hours. I slept for crap last night. I kept getting hot/cold and now I've got this sickly feeling in my belly like I've had too much soda. *ugh*
