I know this might be a strange topic, but when I was a kid I would run high fevers and hallucinate, actually believing my dreams were real, but was never diagnosed with epilepsy as a kid. I don't know how they missed that one. I was also told I was a daydreamer in school only to find out later it was petit mal seizures. Now that I'm older I have strange deja vu dreams. its kind of hard to explain but I was wondering if anyone else has had similar things happen?
does anyone have strange dreams due to their epilepsy?

I noticed that you are taking Lamictal. One of the side effects is very vivid dreams.
I'm on Lamictal, and when I first started taking it my dreams were so real that in the morning I didn't know if they really happened or not. Over time my dreams became less vivid. But I still dream more than I used to.
I've heard of people who keep the vivid dreams as long as they are on the medication. You might be one of those people.

I've had very vivid dreams that seemed real over the years. I've also taken so many different meds, including Lamictal, so for me, it isn't just the one medication that caused it. I remember being told to stop daydreaming when I was in high school. I now wonder if that was the beginning of seizures for me.
