I suffer from anxiety and would like to know how many of you take an SSRI along with an AED...I have zoloft but am wondering if I'll be able to continue it if I have to be out on Keppra or Topamax..?

If you do well on Zoloft now it shouldn't interact to bad with Keppra. If anything it might be a good idea because Keppra can have the potential to cause some mood changes that aren't to pleasant. Though everyone is different. I have not personal experience with Topamax. Best of luck hope you can find the right mix.

I've suffered with depression/anxiety for ages along with E. I've taken SSRI's also. Currently, I take 3000 mgs. of Keppra along with a small dose of Topomax (which is also used as a mood stabilizer) for seizures, and Zoloft for depression. Make sure your neuro know.
