I'm still looking for something that will help my allergies without making my seizures worse. I can't take Claritin without it making them worse and Allegra is like drinking water as to how it helps my allergies. My daughter says that cayenne is good for allergies among other things. Have you tried it and does it make your seizures worse? I realize every one is different but I thought I would ask anyway.

I eat all kinds of hot foods, pepper sauces and peppers including cayenne. They do not cause any change good or bad in my seizures or allergies.

I've eaten spicy food all my life. The peppers don't affect my seizures.

Aloha who not been on here for ages had some good natural tips.Magnesum tumeric coconut water was other things I forgot so wish come back tell us again

I use a lot of ginger as it is supposed to be a natural antihistamine. I haven't had any problems with it.

Could try dr baht remedies.or plain homeopathic I have heard the latter is very good.
My cure for cold which may help is cider vinegar fresh lemon just cut it up peel aswell manuka honey best strength (expensive)pinch ciniman clove mix all up with hot water drink it down don't waste lemons they be good enough use one more mug..That cold cure so may help some of your symptoms...They brought out on market this sinus cleaner I not sure details but think just stick up nose clean sinus..I want look into this for my daughter

Tumeric is a natural anti-inflammatory.

Some people who have arthritis have sweared that this stuff helps them.

As with anything, check drug interactions and dosages.

My friend has been swearing by Beconase Spray recently, she suffers allergies and rhinitis. I've not tried it, but it could be worth a shot. It states it does not interact with other medicines, but I'd check the ingredients with a doc first. I can't find anything saying it may react with someone who suffers from epilepsy.

Ah nice one Frink, thanks for that. I'm posting on my phone (from work, no less!) at the moment so couldn't do any extensive research into it.
