If my neuro has someone to answer the phone for him why don't they ever answer it? :soap:

I've got some really important paperwork that needs to be taken care of and for 3 days now (calling twice a day) I haven't gotten any sort of reply at all. At least they could call me back and let me know they've gotten my call and they are working on it!

Aww i know how you feel

Considering most have secretarys that are ment to answer the phone they Dont do it very often do they ???

Can you try calling someone else in the office/hospital/practice? Maybe the computers are down, or they're all on vacation, or an asteroid landed on the building...

It could be like at my neuro office that his receptionist is also his nurse. Small office, small staff in fact he shares his office with another neuro there at the hospital but he has a larger staff. I could not get in with him.

That's how my old neuro was call and have to leave a VM and hope to GOD they call back the same day! with my new one dont know how it goes yet going to go through the testing process 1st then will see how the process works lol, but if nothing else be a squeaky wheel thats how I started getting same day call backs they learned if we dont call him back he'll keep calling all day without end, and I'd call other doctors just to get ahold of mine till I caught him on his lunch ROFL!, finally got my answers and he finally admited to me that he'd start calling me after work and take care of any and all paperwork during biz hours and call backs after hours, Good luck my friend hope all ends well!

No his receptionist is his receptionist. I know she works with other drs too. I'm going to call Monday morning and if I don't hear from them by the afternoon then I'm going to try calling someone else in the office and see if I can get a response that way.

I've never been given an e-mail address to conctact him, just a phone number, so I don't know.

Maybe you could ask for a e-mail address when you finally get a response from them. It might be worth a try for next time. I hope you get through soon.
