Okay, this may be a strange one, but I was out the back this morning working on my Dad's car.

As the sun was out - I know, deep shock...the UK had SUN :roflmao: - I wore a baseball cap to cover my 'solar panel for a Love God' from the sun.

About 1 hour later I felt a bit of an 'oh no' situation come on with the Epilepsy. Nothing come off it, but as I'd been okay since Wednesday it seemed real odd that I should get one come out of 'nowhere', if you know what I mean.

I was wondering if it was maybe due to the heat not being able to escape at the top of my head, due to the baseball cap being there ?

Whaddya think ? :ponder:

It's hard to decide if your cap wouldn't let the heat escape or if it protected your head from the hot sun above.

I would also wonder if it was possibly the excess light that might have helped trigger a seizure. Ever have any signs of photosensitivity?

Regarding the photosensitivity : in my earlier years I didn't really have any sensitivity towards light at all. Over the last (God knows how many years) I have seemed to become more photosensitive - for instance, watching police car programs are okay providing they don't spend too much time with a dumb cameraman who decides to point it at the flashing lights. If that happens, I just get the feeling I have to look away.

Interesting thoughts epileric, Thanks

I'm guessing it's the sheer shock of seeing sunlight in the UK :O

Nah, i don't think the baseball cap would have caused any problems.

Anyhoo, maybe it's just "one of those things" or it could just be from the heat.

Maybe it was something about your dad's car that set you off -- fumes, the sun reflecting off of it...
