Yeah the lights can be annoying even if they don't cause seizures, with my meds upped and a dose of Klonopin I do much much better, my biggest problem is when the startle me, or go off randomly in my peripheral vision.
 
I get the same out-of-body feeling; I believe it is called depersonalization, and it is usually an aura of mine. I find that the loud 90 dB church music causes me to seize. I sit outside until worship is done. I am on 700 mg of Tegretol...ironic.
