Hi there folks :hugs:
I've dropped by as I have two divergent interests and you kind people lie right in the middle of these two spheres as on the one side we have neurology and the other spirituality. Now electroencephalograms reveal a spike in activity in the left prefrontal cortex which is often linked to religious experience and this experience has been induced in regular old Joe Six Packs using a helmet loaded with magnets as well where people have gone from atheist to believer in an instant just my literally changing their mind.
Now the reason why I've washed up on these digital shores is I wish to know more from the horses mouth about his topic. Have you had what could be classed a spiritual event before? If so how and in what way did it relate to your epilepsy? Did this experience change your perspective on life in any way?
I've personally think that the world is pretty much wrong about everything and we wrestle daily not with our ignorance but the illusion of knowledge and its the outliers such as yourselves that present the most interesting perspectives as they don't fit within the sanctioned worldview of the times, after all the varieties of religious experience and reports from those waltzing around the edge of an aura often reveal very similar perspectives so it does make on think...
BTW y'all have great smileys here:mrt:
