Hello, you said that the Epilepsy debate has already started on BBC Parliament. I'm in the UK too, so I'm interested as well. Can you please post a link to the debate? :)
 
Hugely fascinating. The woman at 18:04 is right though...a stigma does stop the public conversation.
 
... and only 20% of acute trusts stated that the average waiting time for an adult with suspected epilepsy to see an epilepsy specialist consultant was two weeks or less.

I was under the impression that you folks in the UK generally had to wait several months to see an epilepsy specialist. Two weeks doesn't sound bad in comparison.

Sounds like Epilepsy Action provided the group with a fairly thorough assessment of the state of medical care for epilepsy over there. Kudos to Epilepsy Action. :)
 
mine was only about a month. guess it depends on which hospital you are waiting on too
