Jacinta hasnt had any absences on Epilum during this past week.
She isnt on the full dosage yet, it will be another week before she is on 800mg daily.
She isnt having any of the side effects either, so we are really pleased with the results.
What has amazed me is that when she was on epilum syrup at 4 years old it never controlled her seizures, and side effects were terrible for her.
The only difference i am aware of is that the tablets have a coating.. better on stomach, and dosage amount ..well i suppose it doesnt matter now, we have great results!

Thats brilliant, there must be something in the air!!!!

I had the same problem with epilum as a kid, they never tried me on it again.

I hope that you have continued great results. I am so pleased for you.

Thanks everyone, im praying and hoping it stays controlled.
Now we have to focus on her learning.
Epilepsy Action have been talking with school and myself and they will be visiting the school soon.
Jacinta's still against telling her peers, teachers still want toso we have a bit more talking to do. Maybe they may just talk to the teachers at this stage?

I had the same problem with epilum as a kid, they never tried me on it again.
The nuero told me that the coated tablet was new..I dont know how new?
Maybe it is be worth trying the 'new one' again, as they told me Epilum is the best for controlling absence seizures.

Thanks
Cheryl
