Hi guys! Just looking for a little advice. We are all geared up for a big Purple Day. Kids at Aiden's kindy are doing a fundraiser and doing purple craft activities and I'm making a purple rocket cake (kindy's theme) for them to have for afternoon tea and I'm fundraising at the local shopping centre on Saturday. We have the local paper doing a story and everything, so excited! Anyway I would like to explain to Aiden and the other kids what epilepsy is but have no idea how to explain to 3 year olds what it is without confusing or scaring them. Any ideas?

How about brain hiccups? You are doing a wonderful thing....best of luck to you:clap:

I like that one, brain hiccups:) Even though if I ever were to see one of my own seizures (juvenile myclone (?) epilepsy, cramp attacks) I doubt it would look anything like hiccups:p but for children, I think it's a great way to put it:):) i just might hold on to that for later.. Thanks! And thanks for asking the question;)
