It looks like I will be having eye surgery for cataracts in the near future. Has anyone else had this experience? If so, did any of the meds or eye drops cause you any negative effect? I would like to hear how you did. thanks.

I’m still about 15 years or more away from cataract surgery, but I have had Lasik eye surgery with zero problems. I remember they gave patients a valium beforehand to help with any potential anxiety. Since valium is also used as an anti-seizure med, you could ask your eye doc if that's worth considering. I recommend you touch base with your eye doc about what meds/drops will be used to see if there's anything you might be sensitive to.
