Lately I get these weird sensations/feelings where I feel like I am in a strange area and I can't really describe it but I feel sick to my stomach and feel sick like I am going to vomit. It comes over me. Then I get a bad headache. I hate when that happens. I don't know if it is a seizure, migraine or anxiety. Usually with migraines I lose my eyesight for 20 minutes and I don't get a headache as bad as I did years ago. I have a headache now and my face is flushed. I don't feel good. Feeling exhausted and have a headache. I hate when this comes over me. Anyone else get these sort of feelings? I am fine now.

I've had times when I'll be in a room and things just don't look right. One time for example I was in my living room and the way the furniture was set up and where the pictures were on the wall just looked all wrong. Everything was right were is should be though. I might feel slightly dizzy too. I don't know if I may have been having a seizure or not when this was going on.

I've never gotten sick after this has happened or had a headache. Most of the time after I have a seizure I'll have a headache. I've never felt like I was going to throw up after one.

I described the same thing to my neurologist in March and April of this year, and the nurse who got back to me said it was auras I was having. Thats when they tried to add on another seizure medication. Looking back now, my keppra level wasnt high enough, since my dr took me off all medications "cold turkey" during my VEEG, and after being released, I was still having seizures at home, and then having the auras.

Have you brought this up to your dr? If not, I would do that to see what they say.

I have to go see my neurologist in January (soon) so I am going to ask some questions about these crazy sensations because they really upset me. I could cry, it bothers me that much. Nothing usually bothers me but this does. I have also noticed that I seem to get more seizure symptoms when I am PMSing too probably because I am more tired and irritated. But in the past, I have had all kinds of kinds of seizures especially when tired or stressed with bigger seizures (grand mal) in my sleep when I am really stress from work or family. I wonder sometimes if I am having a blood clot or something because I get this weird pressure in my head like a rush and then I feel nausea. I feel like I have to recall where I am for a minute and then try to relax until I realize where I am.

I notice too when Im really stressed or tired, is when my seizure symptoms start to appear. Thats a warning sign for me that I have to start relaxing and getting more sleep.

It actually could be hormones. My seizures are triggered by my hormones, so I always know to expect having a few seizures right before my period starts (or sometimes in the middle of the month too when the other hormone rises... I forget which hormone increases when).

i get this when i have auras..... its like im sitting here and sounds in backround will be strange to me... its like everythings normal everywhere but i feel like im floating away to back of my mind or something

ps..... i get really bad auras round my pms time too..... and after having my baby i had sezures on first day of my period, but since going on keppra ive been free from tonic clonic for 8 months :) but i still get bad auras all time
