well yesterday was my boys last day of school!
its a good and bad thing, they are needing to learn respect their mom and they already know they not to push my buttons :woot:
So here's the back story so you understand how I found out that severe stress/ fight or flight is a late trigger for a night trigger for me,

My boys old bus driver had to have double knee surgery and so they got a new one and for awhile he did "ok", picked up where he should have and droped of where he should have. and then they gave he a "new" bus it was "bigger" so then he "chooses" I can't pull into your apartment driveway due to a van and other cars I'm pulling onto a busy highway and only putting on my turn signal and making kids with learning disabilitys run towards the street, which later after talking to lawyers and other bus drivers is illeagal, (long story shorter) I call get no where, so yesterday for final proof he never turned on his lights I video taped a short .17sec on my phone of his turn siganl's, he comes running out of the bus with his camera and takes my photo and then I turn mine off (later I kick myself in the butt should have left it on!!!!!) he verbally abuses me, get's within an inch of my face as i'm holding myself up with my cane he's calling me a fat F* which compared to him not really so he changed it to skinny F* and then told me he's making it so nobody can park in the parking lot of the building thanks to me, so finaly he leaves, I call his boss, and talk to her and explain what happen and explain that yes for one I'm disabiled, he verbally assualted me all the kids had to witness him doing this as well and what are they going to do about it, they fired him and me boys get their old bus driver back.

This Morning I had one of the voilent seizures I've had in a long time since my wife and I switched to sleeping on the floor in the living room my kids see more of my seizures when I have them (they've been less thankfully since the keppra) But all (5) my kids said dad you had a seizure and its prob cuz dan the bus driver mad you so mad and you did the righ thing and didnt say anything back to him.

I just needed to vent since I have no where else to LOL and if I try venting anywhere else it falls on deaf ears or my docs would say see its PNES and this proves it, this has been the only stressful (when actually it was somewhat amusing to watch him almost pop a blood vessel)(and have 20 cars and driver jump out of their cars and parents leave their apartmets to come help me) to bring a can of whoop A$$. So I don't know if I can call it full stress or something else all I know is I have a night seizure with urination that was worse than normal and 5 out of my 6 kids saw it the 19mo old was in her crib :roflmao:

thoughts please
thanks
mike

Stress can obviously have physical effects, so have a having a "stress-seizure" doesn't automatically mean that it's psychogenic. And some people have both kinds of seizures. Emotional stress can certainly cause physical symptoms...
--High blood pressure
--Headache
--Muscle tension or pain
--Chest pain
--Fatigue
--Stomach upset
--Sleep problems
...which can in turn act as seizure triggers.

Now that you suspect this may be a trigger, you may want to deliberately build in "relaxation" breaks several times a day, as well as after a stressful event. The breaks don't have to be long -- maybe 5 minutes -- and all you really need to do is focus on your breathing and little else during them. If something stressful has occurred, write it down -- the physical act of writing actually helps to clear it from your system.

this happens at 12pm and my seizure didnt happen 7am this morning so it was a very long delay and my topamax and keppra are still helping and still cant wait for my namy upciming appointments to try and figure this all out since i dont want to wait out the standard 7-10 year to reverse to PNES dianosis.
My sons school princiapal, has had many issues with that bus driver and was glad to hear he is gone and had goosebumps after my wife called and told her about that issue with me and said she was calling all the parents on my sons route to tell them that the driver has been delat with and sorry for my spelling I'm still having issues form this morning.
tahnks, again NAKA
Mike

It's great that you stood up for yourself and the kids!

hey cant let people take advantage of you for ever now if I could just (do the same to the ex)(good thing for a good lawyer)
and I'm I was also thinking of all the other kids he was putting in danger, and thinking of the my health as well the thought of never knowing about when my kids would be home, if he'd drop them off when and where was causing issues and I was trying to keep calm and the AEDS were working great and I've only had 3 seizures since starting keppra so here's to hoping everything keeping going well!
but when everything was up in the air with that old driver dropping off and pick up I always worried and I'm sure it was compounding my issues.
Thanks again Naka!

Mike

Glad you found your trigger.

Stress is a huge seizure trigger for me. When something stresses me out we know that any time I'm going to have a seizure and 9 times out of 10 I do.

thank you valeridedl!
I hope they dont tell you that you have pnes like they tell me! even though I know there are giving me a wrong diagnosis, based on a ton of reading and reading a ton of medical findings, on PNES and AEDS on how they dont stop seizures or they only make them worst, I've now only have had 3 seizures and one startle seizure in roughly 13 days since starting keppra in additon to my topamax.
so thankfully I have many new doc appointments to get 2nd and 3rd opinions to get a correct diagnosis! so thank you everyone for your thoughts and ideas and feedback!
hugs and prayers
