As of recent (like in the ast week or 2 my seizures have returned) after having seizures, which are mostly nocturnal, I am hard to wake the next morning/within a couple hours of my last seizures. I guess they tried for like an hour to wake me up on Friday and I would not wake. I have been sleeping later lately too. Is this a sign the seizures are getting worse? I am still on Keppra 500 mg/2x a day and since I'm pregnant they don't want to add any others. People have mentioned the Ketogenic Diet, but I couldn't do that I don't think. I suppose if its succesful in adults as well though I may have to try.

I also have noticed that sometimes when I'm watching something or reading something my eyes will blur and it takes several blinks to clear them. I don't know if this is caused from a possible small seizure, the concussion or what?

Also been hhaving more complex partials lately different then how they were. I now pick at my lip and clothes.

Stay in touch with the doctor. Your top post is really something for you to talk to the pro's about.

Usually for me, minor things like this would change rather often. Never expect things to stay the same. They'll catch you off guard when they do.

I stopped taking my meds regularly for years before things "changed". Worry about your pregnancy and let the docs worry about the epilepsy. I'm glad I don't have to be the one to get pregnant. :D

Lol yea but I have a major problem with doctors not listening

The doctor works for you. Make sure you're getting what you paid for. I have a great neurologist and if I didn't think so, I have a big city full to pick from. I know that's no always the case, but take advantage of what you have.

I hae title 19 so I'm tecnically not paying. And all the neurologist around here are an hour or more away.

SoonToBeMommy, I know very well what a distance can be as I have to travel 3 hours to get to my neurologist. But I have learned years ago the importance of what N Sperlo says he has "I have a great neurologist." 10 years ago my neurologist told me to drop all my meds overnight (tegretol and dilantin)... from what I had been warned by my previous neurologist, 'if going off any meds, do not stop all at once.' So, with my new neurologist (at the time) and his ways, I needed a different one ASAP and learned it was best to head out of town and travel 3 hours... sometimes the extra distance is well worth it. Just thought I would share when I read your last post.

Any friends/family/church groups, etc. that could give you a ride?

I don't go to church and none of my family will drive in Des Moines

I live two hours, one way, from my neuro. I have to beg, borrow and steal to get someone to take me. My 82 year old neighbor has even taken me. Keep trying, eventually you will find someone to drive you. Right now my 17 year old son, who just got his learner's permit, is driving me to work. Mt teenage students think its "great". It is rather embarrassing not to mention just a little bit scary. Some days I wonder if I would be less of a risk than he is.

Get to go to the hospital...woohoo...idk what they'll do to stop them gonna suck if they send me elsewhere but if its too bad I'm sure they will

SoonToBeMommy is there any possibility of you having a computer link up appointment with a consultant?

Baby changing your hormones which in turn affects your epilepsy control throughout and just after your pregnancy means you and baby need to be closely monitored to ensure the safety of both of you.

Another option may be to temporarily rent a room near the consultant till you have had your baby.

When you hold that little bundle of joy in your arms and hear that cry for the first time believe me it will all be worth it.
I was lucky and my consultant was very good and I now have 3 lovely grown up children. I won't pretend it was easy with the first......learning curve for me and the consultant but the other two fine :)
