I am honestly getting scared for my appointment tomorrow and its only with my GP. I just finally want some answers. I'm sick of being told I'm making stuff up. Now I finally have some doctors as witnesses, but I'm still scared.

*HUGS* I'm sorry you're scared. =( I'm happy you will be finally getting some answers though! Just keep pushing for answers. I know what you mean, though. I've been seeing doctors about this for over a decade, and I still get butterflies every time before I go in. =/ I'm rooting for you tomorrow!

I think its totally normal to have those feeling before any appointment. I know I had those feelings a few years ago with my neurologist. Back then, I was having horriable headaches, who he thought was seizure activity wanting to come on, so he increased my doseage, and made it worse! I had to go back down to my original dose before him seeing him again. i was afraid that he was going to "bitch" me out! But I lucked out, and he was gone! :) He ended up going to a different location and I was put with his partner.

hang in there. Try to relax. I know easier said than done. Before you know it, the appointment will be here and be done and over with! :)

And hopefully I'll have some sort of answers or at least an MRI and Video EEG scheduled. I hope Title 19 covers Video EEGs.

It'll be okay. I see my Neurologist in a week & I'm a bit nervous too cause I have to tell him about all my head traumas and about the aura's from ages ago and I'm not sure what he's going to tell me about that.

SoontobeMommy -
Good luck with your drs appt, hope you will be able to get referred to a neurologist.
I think it's normal to feel scared or nervous when you have a drs appt.

I get along great with both my neuro in my home town & the one I see at the epilepsy clinic in the city but I still get a little nervous when I have my neuro appts.
