hi people - another thing to add aside from my smelling non-existing smells is that i also get goosebumps at strange times. i also feel cold when i shouldnt possibly be. one example right now its 28 degrees and im getting an intense feeling of being cold right from my core and goosebumps are everywhere....

am i just being paroniod or should i mention this to my neuro?

Some kinds of partial seizures activate the autonomic nervous system -- the part of the body that makes your heart rate race, or your palms sweaty ...makes goosebumps appear. So it could be seizure activity. Go ahead and let your doc know. It never hurts to mention things to your neuro -- after all, it's their job to distinguish what's serious or relevant and what isn't.

i just spoke to my neurologists secretary. she said that neuro said not to worry about feeling cold and that he would be in touch shortly via a letter to gp (also forwarded to me) as to what the next step is once eeg and mri results are back. relief indeed :)
