I think it went pretty well although I felt a bit stupid keep having to ask her what she meant by questions. I think my brain is broken. Had seizures last night again and I do think stress is a trigger. Luckily only had a few though. See her again in 2 weeks and see a psychiatrist January 24th. Also am going to be scheduling my second opinion soon.

Hi Soontbemommy,
Good to see your appt with the psychologist went well. Was it a neuropsychologist you saw? Were they able to tell you if your seizures were epileptic or non epileptic?

There is no need to feel stupid for not understanding the questions. I'm sure they would be used to patients not understanding some of the questions they ask.
I have been in appts with my neurologist or neuropsychogist & they have asked me a question or said something to me which I wasn't sure what it meant so I would just ask them & they would explain it so it made sense to me.

No she is just a regular psychologist, but I still am gettinga second opinion. The thing is there were simple questions to understand. My brain is just foggy lately.

Even the simplest questions can be hard to understand at times, especially if you aren't feeling well or you had recently had a seizure.

Hopefully you can get to the bottom of things. That's awful that you're still having such frequent seizures, and, as I recall, no meds have been prescribed??

Nope no meds have been prescribed. I'm not sure of the psychiatrist will prescribe any or not. Hoping seeing a different GP I can get more tests done. Still need to schedule the second opinion.
