Yes. My book club just read the "Go set a Watchman" sequel to "To Kill a Mockingbird". Very talented lady.

It is very sad. So glad she was able to see the publication and release of Go Set a Watchman.

Have you seen the 1962 American movie To Kill a Mockingbird? I was in school when we were shown this on VHS or DVD because we had just finished reading the book in class. I remember being so engrossed in the movie - especially the courtroom part - that I totally forgot where I was when it was time to go home! Even though all the students were well old enough to read (grade 7) our teacher read much of the book to us as was often his way. He had a great technique for bringing a story to life.

Just rented the movie last night after hearing the news very powerful and educational for my son

I've seen that movie SOOOO many times and I could watch it many, many more. I love it. I guess I liked it so well because I lived in the south years ago, and that is where the story is set. My son took acting classes in high school (we lived in Memphis at the time) and he was in this play. Oh, it was good..... And now my son is a lawyer, too.
