Once in a while I become aware that I don't know who I am ,where I am ,what I had just been doing, if so I wonder if I had a family, who they were ,where they were and what they are doing.

I have a husband and two adult children.

This condition can last for an hour or more (much longer then a normal pot-ic-tal period.)

Sometimes my husband is there and I ask him the above situation. It really shakes me up and am at the time wonder what had gone on and why. Has this happened to some one else?

Hi Lonnie,

I have had some of the same feelings. I tend to get "lost" a lot. Usually is well known places. For example, I was folding clothes the other day and we totally lost as to where to go from there. I knew I wanted to go to my room, but had absolutely no idea how to get there. It is actually about 10 steps from where I was :) It also happens a lot when I am in a room with a closed door. I have no idea what I am going to see when I open the door, even though I have done the same action a zillion times before. It is weird isn't it? It is hard sometimes to be special. That is how I like to look at it. We have all been picked for some reason, so we must be special :)
