Probably has with me.
Aspartame is a trigger for me (simple partials) and every brand in the UK of chewing gum has it in.
But I didn't know it was a trigger and used to chew it a lot and drink a lot of sugar free drinks which contained aspartame.

So yes, chewing gum could be the cause of seizures in some people.

One thing I can actually say with certainty is that chewing gum and seizures have no connection in my life
Possibly coffee for me may as my neurologist many times has told me to QUIT drinking it.
