Still new here and still trying to figure out my diagnosis with my neuro.

Luckily my seizures have always been at night - safe place, no one around.

Not so lucky anymore... In the past 3 days, I've had 4 while i was awake. 2 two days ago and 2 tonight, one which was at work (thank god no one was around), and one just a few minutes ago here in bed.

Not sure what to do since I'm even more scared to drive now. I did call my neuro office yesterday to get a dr note for my job so that they're aware of them and had the receptionist tell the dr that they have been happening during the day and that I don't think the .5mg of clonazapem might not be working. They sent the note but nothing about the meds.

He first said it could be focal motor seizures and didn't give me any limitations since they were happening at night. (even said I might have restless leg syndrome...?)

I have an appointment next week for follow up, but my EEG isn't until the 15th.
Need some advice about how to deal with these now that they're during the day. I work at a hotel and scared about having one with guests around. Or worse, while driving. For some reason I'm always turning towards my left. and tonight, since i was at work standing up, i jus started spinning in circles to my left since I wasn't leaning on something, which is why i started spinning

I think I've figured out one of my "auras" which is just feeling "off" and disoriented for awhile. When a seizure actually happens is the only question and you guys know that we never know when it hits.

Sounds like you're taking good notice of what's happening to you. If you're not doing so yet, start journaling everything. It helped me to realize my triggers and to know when I'd be more vulnerable during the day. I to have alot of nocturnals.

I had been lucky for a long time as well, with seizures only at night and then the seizures started during the day as well. Any time I could get one, so I had to give up driving. It turned out that I had become immune to the drugs. It took a while for them to find this out and a little longer to find medication that worked. Thankfully everything was back to normal, if you get my meaning. Still not fully under control, but I am back driving. Now I get a seizure either in bed or within the first hour of getting up, so I get up earlier and naturally go to bed earlier.

I cannot explain the turning to your left side, there are a couple of reasons. I do it as well, no idea why, the doctors think it might be some sort of defense my body came up with. They came up with the same thing you doctors said and then changed there mind. I was working in a hotel when this happened as well and they found my blood platelets count was down also, not enough natural sunlight. You might want to try some B12 supplements or folic acid, might help.

My Son went from night (nocturnal T/C) today time T/C and we could pin point it to mega stress?

Anything stressing u out big time?

Keep trying to get in touch with your doctor -- it's worth it to see if they can move up your appointment, or give you advice on increasing your meds, or possibly give you a prescription or something short-term like Ativan.
